Purpose
WHY AMERICA FIRST ?
So simple a concept, yet so elusive from most people’s understanding… America First. Perhaps the best way to capture the essence of America First involves the simplest and shortest question in our language – “Why?”
For example, why do politicians and media types continually drone on about our country being a democracy when anyone who can recite the Pledge of Allegiance knows that we’re SUPPOSED to be a Constitutional Republic? Why the disconnect? Could it be because in the republic envisioned by the Founding Fathers our Rights are granted to us by God and are UN-A-LIEN-ABLE (cannot be taken away), as opposed to a democracy, where we’ve been led to believe that the fedgov has created an array of “civil rights” for us. The only problem is that these “rights” can be changed or even eliminated at the whim of a faceless, colorless, odorless collection of bureaucrats that seem totally unaccountable to the people they (allegedly) serve. No wonder they work overtime to perpetuate the illusion of democracy! And why is it that the only CONgressMAN that uses the term ‘republic’ with any regularity is Ron Paul (R-TX), and he’s treated like a red-headed stepchild by his illustrious associates?
One of the most critical issues we now face thanks to the ineptitude of our supposed leaders is illegal immigration. Can anyone intelligently explain the fact that we have Homeland Security policies that prioritize keeping our airports safe from gray-haired, elderly Americans over sealing our borders from untold numbers of people who break federal law to enter this country to deal drugs, engage in property theft, commit murders, etc. To make matters worse, in many cases our fedgov deals with all these people by rewarding them with food stamps, Section 8 housing vouchers, free medical care and on and on while many of our elderly Americans who fought wars, paid taxes all their lives and raised families of productive citizens get to spend their “golden years” trying to survive with a fixed income and sometimes going without eating to make it another day.
THIS IS REPREHENSIBLE!
Yet those in charge skip merrily along in their politically-correct world knowing full well that “We the People” will do nothing!
Why are we in this predicament? Because WE DON’T KNOW WHO WE ARE ANYMORE.
We’re led around like bleating sheep by public officials who think their codes, rules and regulations are Positive Law when in reality they use COLOR OF LAW to extract money and exert ever increasing control over our lives. Truth be known, their local municipal codes have no more force over us than the corporate codes created by IBM or any other corporation. The problem is that we’re too distracted by our texting, video games, March madness, and “Desperate Housewives” to get informed, organize and put these so-called public servants in their place!
Add in the current debacles we’re dealing with on the bailout scams, foreign wars with no end, prolific spending by the fedgov that will result in the devaluation or even total destruction of our currency and on and on ad nauseam.
Why America First? Do we even have to ask? The only other question to consider is
“Who Are You?” An American endowed by their Creator, a living soul on the land, with a love of faith, family and freedom? OR a handwringing, muttering under the breath, bleating, obedient servant of the faceless, soul-less organism seemingly designed to rob each of us or our humanity? This day who will you choose to serve?
